Description
Bring your solves to a whole new level by learning advanced techniques used by the World’s best speedcubers. These include X-crosses, blockbuilding, inspection utilization, advanced F2L solutions, multislotting, pseudoslotting, lookahead techniques and optimizations, algorithm learning methods and examples tailored to student’s difficulties.
Prerequisites: Know F2L, full OLL and PLL, solving times of ~12 seconds or less.
Duration: 1.5 hours weekly for 10 weeks

This course has undoubtedly been one of the best journeys I’ve ever had in the field of cubing. I live in Malta so I had to do the lessons at midnight. Despite this, I learnt a lot, whether it’s F2L or new OLL and PLL algorithms. Thanks a lot, Tommy!

I took this course back in April to June, and I don’t regret it in the slightest. You get to personally engage with the other students and teacher, and I still use the techniques I learned today. My average of 100 after just one lesson was dropped by nearly half a second, and by the end of the course, I was averaging around 1-2 seconds faster. That may seem like a small improvement, but this course teaches you the foundations to becoming a world-class cuber, and allows you to experiment with what works for you. As of now, I’m averaging sub-10, and have a sub-9 averaging in competition mostly because of this course. Tommy Cherry is a great teacher, and thank you to all of the people working at CLA (to name a few), such as Tommy Cherry, Antoine Cantin, Benjamin Kyle, CEF Montreal, and more. If I become world class, it will have been mostly from this course setting the foundations to it.

This course has been an unimaginable help in my 3×3 improvement journey! The course covers various topics, ranging from ergonomic cross+1 to efficient alg learning techniques. Tommy was always there to support or assist me if I needed help or could improve in a certain area of my solves. In addition, he tackled the task of teaching me AND another student, which is quite tricky. In each session, I would be actively recognized and included, instead of just being “part of a class.” As the website says, the regular assignments help to implement the techniques learned in each session. They also contribute to visible, concrete improvement over time. Overall, this has been an unforgettable experience, and it will have been essential in my 3×3 journey later on. Thanks Tommy! Thanks Antoine!
