About Us

Founded in 2024 by CEF Montreal and speedcuber Antoine Cantin, Cubing Life Academy aims to grow cubing and support the next generation of cubers.

Our teaching team includes co-founder and former Rubik’s Cube One-Handed World Record Holder Antoine Cantin, current Rubik’s Cube Blindfolded Holder Tommy Cherry, former Pyraminx World Record Holder Benjamin Kyle and former Rubik’s Cube single World Record holder Patrick Ponce.

We have both in-person and online courses, given in group or individually.

Our Special Sauce

What we’re known for at Cubing Life Academy is mostly our live group courses. These are structured courses, given weekly live by a teacher in a small group for many weeks.
 
These offer distinct advantages compared to learning on your own, individual coaching, or recorded video courses:
  • Cover all your bases with a carefully planned structure that we’re continuously refining
  • Personally interact with your teacher for sessions every week. Stay on track and see improvement with homework to keep you practicing and applying what you learned
  • Gain additional perspectives and insight from your small class group of cubers of your level eager to discuss what you learned and improve together
  • Lower costs than individual coaching by splitting between multiple students
 

We also understand some students need some extra flexibility. So, we also offer individual coaching with any member of our team, including Patrick Ponce, Tommy Cherry, Benjamin Kyle and Antoine Cantin.
